This is a security code that protects your credit card from possible fraud. The CVV (Card Validation Value) on the VISA, the CVC (Card Validation Code) on the MasterCard, or the CIN (Card Identification Number) on the American Express card, is a 3 or 4 digit code that can usually be found on the back of your credit card.
These code are used exclusively for mail-order transactions (purchases made by phone, fax, letter or over the Internet) that may be requested by the merchant.

Visa/Mastercard Users
Flip your card over and look at the signature box. You should see either the entire 16-digit credit card number or just the last four digits followed by a special 3-digit code. This 3-digit code is your Card Security Code.

American Express:
The American Express Card Identification Number (CIN) is a four digit number found on the front of the U.S. issued American Express Card (including Optima). For the American Express card the four digit number is displayed on the front of the card, just above and to the right of the credit card number. For the Optima card it is displayed on the front of the card, to the left and just above the credit card number. American Express and GoldenMine.com are now using this number for added security and customer protection. |

We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. No purchase is charged to your credit card until we ship your products.
You can safely enter your credit card number through the following methods:

For international orders, we only accept PayPal.
Authorizing Debit Cards and Credit Cards
Because financial institutions are more strict when approving jewelry purchases, it is not uncommon for debit and credit card authorization requests to fail once or twice before the payments get approved, especially for debit card users. We will send you an e-mail if we experience any difficulties in authorizing your purchase. If you continue to experience issues, you can try one of the following:
- Use another credit card, Amazon Payments, or PayPal to place your order.
- Contact your bank or credit card company to allow your transaction to go through.

Choosing Or Removing Items
Your shopping cart allows you to select products for purchase. You'll be able to see the shopping cart on the right side of most pages. To put a product in your cart, click on the "Add to Cart" button on the product detail page. If you're not completely sure you want to purchase a product, you can still put it in the cart and later delete it before completing your purchase by clicking on the "Remove" button next to the product in the shopping cart detail page.
Checking Out
When you are finished shopping, you can complete your purchase by clicking the "Check Out" button. First, you'll be asked to either log-in if you're a returning customer or establish an account if you're a new customer. To establish an account you'll be asked to enter your email address, select a password, and enter your name, billing address, and telephone number. Once you have an account you simply select from the shipping options noted below and enter your credit card information. After you've entered the required information, click the "Place Order" button and your done. A new screen will appear revealing your order summary and invoice page. If you are unsure whether we have your order, you may check your order status by visiting the "My Account" area.

Verification
Sometimes, as part of the check-out process, we will ask you to verify certain information to ensure that you are the authorized holder of the credit card which is being used to purchase the products from Goldenmine.com. This procedure is designed to protect you against the fraudulent use of your credit card. If you receive a message indicating that there is a verification error, please carefully recheck the information you have entered to make sure it conforms to the requested information. If you continue to experience a problem, please contact us.
Credit Card Security
Your security is very important to us. GoldenMine.com uses the latest 128 bit secure encryption to process all our orders and you can confirm this anytime by clicking on the Verisign icon on the bottom right of our homepage. This will confirm that your order will be secure and that it will be protected against disclosure to third parties.
If your browser says that you are not obtaining a secure connection to GoldenMine.com, it is probably because you are using an old browser program that works only on 64 bit encryption. Also, you might be using a browser that is not supported by GoldenMine.com. At the moment, we do not support Netscape or Opera.
Shipping Options
In the Checkout pages you will also have the option of choosing your shipping method (and view the shipping rates for your destination) and/or including a message to the recipient of a gift purchase. To learn more about our shipping rates, please see our Shipping Information page. On the Billing & Shipping Information page you will also have the option of setting up additional "Ship-to" addresses in case you wish to have your order delivered somewhere other than your home. Once you enter the additional address, you'll be able to simply choose it as your "Ship-to" address in the future and speed through the ordering process. Please Note: If shipping to a different address your order will be held for verification.
Status of an Order
GoldenMine.com customers can check their order status by clicking on the MY ACCOUNT section on the upper right hand side of the homepage. There you can simply click on ORDER STATUS and find out what's happening with your order.
Please note that you will have to log into the site with your email address and password before you can access your ordering information. This is done to protect your security and privacy.
Shipping Time Frame
Most orders are processed, picked, packed, and shipped within 1-3 business days after the order is placed.
You will be emailed with a tracking number once your order has been shipped.
Our standard procedure is to ship an order with the items that are available to ship.

We offer a simple, 30-day return policy. While we stand behind the products we offer, we want to ensure that our customers are satisfied. Return or exchange any unaltered, unworn item in original condition within 30 days from the date of receipt of your original order for a full refund* excluding shipping. Look below for more details.

We will ACCEPT any of the following items to be exchanged or returned:
- Jewelry items 30 days before original delivery date.
- Jewelry items with no signs of wear or mistreatment.
- Jewelry items with no alterations made by any other jeweler other than GoldenMine.
- Jewelry items with no special/custom orders including engravings or custom sizes.
*Please note: Some custom brand-named manufactured items (yet not limited to), such as Dora, may have a restocking fee. Items with a restocking fee will be noted in all caps in the item description. Refunds exclude shipping fees.
We will REFUSE any of the following items to be exchanged or returned:
- Jewelry items exhibit signs of excessive wear or mistreatment.
- Jewelry items showing obvious signs of wear or alteration by a jeweler other than GoldenMine.
- Jewelry items with Special/Custom orders which include engraved items or custom sizes or any alterations.
- Any returns or exchanges 30 days after original delivery date.
- Any package delivered to us without an RMA# (Return Material Authorization).
SPECIAL NOTE ON EXCHANGES
Exchanges can only be made within 30 days from the date of receipt of the original purchase only. An exchange does not extend an additional 30-day return policy. If you wish to make any further exchanges to any exchanged item, you must complete this transaction within these 30 days.
HOW TO RETURN/EXCHANGE YOUR ORDER
- All Returns and Exchanges are handled through our Returns & Exchanges Department. You can contact them by phone or by email. To make an exchange or return by phone, call toll free at (888) 223-7056 or (213) 223-7611 during business hours (Monday thru Friday 10:00am - 4:00pm Pacific Time. Closed on major US holidays). To make an exchange or return by email, send an email to RMA@goldenmine.com, and be sure to include the following details:
- Name (first and last) on the order
- Order number
- Daytime phone
When you call or email regarding your return or exchange, you will be given an RMA# (Return Material Authorization) and further mailing instructions. RMA# are only given to orders that fall within our 30-Day Return/Exchange Policy.
- Write the RMA# on the OUTSIDE of your jewelry item package before it is shipped to us. We will refuse and not process any return or exchange package without a visible RMA#.
- Send the package through any carrier of your choice. We HIGHLY recommend that you insure your package because GoldenMine is not responsible for any loss or damage that occurs with items that are shipped back to us to be processed as a return or exchange.
FOR SECURITY REASONS, do not write GoldenMine.com, or other jewelry-related words on your return/exchange package. Also, do not disclose the contents when insuring the package.
Customer pays for shipping fees when returning or exchanging items. If your item is INCORRECT or DAMAGED, we will refund up to $8 for the shipping back cost.
- You will be notified once we receive your jewelry exchange or return.
It is important to process your Return and Exchange correctly and promptly, so please contact us soon as possible and within 30 days of when you get your order delivered.
