Made in 14K yellow gold, this charm's polished finish accentuates the fine craftsmanship of Hotei, a Buddhist god of contentment and happiness. This figure is also known as the Laughing Buddha because of his smile or Fat Buddha due to his plump depiction. Folklore proposes that rubbing the belly brings good luck and fortune, and some believe that looking at his cheerful disposition reminds them of feeling happiness. For those who appreciate these beliefs, this pendant makes a high quality choice. This charm complements a chain with a width of 2mm or thinner. Dimensions: 11mm x 13mm (20mm with bail) or 0.43 inch x 0.51 inch approx. Jewelry box included with purchase. |
