The Miraculous Medal is a special type of medal in the Catholic religion. Made in gleaming 14K yellow gold, this design represents St. Catherine's depiction of when the Virgin Mary appeared to her during meditation. This oval medal has the "O MARY CONCEIVED WITHOUT SIN PRAY FOR US WHO HAVE RECOURSE TO THEE" engraving surrounding the Virgin Mary on the front, and the back side has all of the other elements that define this type of medal.

Dimensions: 10mm x 14mm (21mm with bail) or 0.4 inch x 0.55 inch approx.

This is very small but also very elegant. I love the cut of the cross and the Jesus figure is respectful and well presented - something a lot of commercial cross jewelry doesn't succeed with. My only issue was (and still is) the 14K designation. I can see there are characters on the bale but I don't have a powerful enough loupe to read them. I'm assured it's the provenence of the weight of the gold. And I accept Golden Mine's assurance that's what's on the bale. Of course, those characters merely indicate the bale itself is 14K. I'd have rathered it be on the cross itself but apparently locating such indicators on the bale is standard. Bottom line is that this is a lovely, albeit small, crucifix pendant.

This is a great value and beautiful piece. After I completed my order for it I was disappointed to receive a call that it was not currently available and the order was cancelled. However, later that night I got an email that said it had shipped and it arrived the next day. The weight was 7.2g not 8.5g as advertised but i didn't complain because i was charged about $55 less than advertised which was approximate market value.

Heavy 2.5mm 14K Gold Diamond-cut 20 inch Rope Chain. Beautiful chain. Perfect length and weight. I also have a 3mm 14K Yellow Gold 22 inch Diamond-cut Rope Chain. I prefer the 20 inch 2.5 mm chain for every day wear. I wear the 3mm 22 inch when I attach my Spirit Animal (Bear) pendant. Both chians were purchased from GoldenMine. My next chain will be also.
