This caduceus pendant attractively reflects the quality craftsmanship in 14K yellow gold. It has a polished finish that brightly shows off the components of this symbol: two snakes formed in a double helix around a rod and two winglets at the top. The caduceus symbol has different meanings. One of them originates from Greek mythology. The quickly moving god and protector of trade, Hermes, is portrayed as holding a caduceus staff, so this insignia often coincides with commerce. This winged staff also relates to the medical profession particularly in the U.S. It acts as the emblem of the U.S. Army Medical Corp. Complement this pendant with a 2.5mm or less chain.
