What is your return policy?

You have a 30-day trial period. If you want to exchange or return an item, simply ship the item and invoice back to us with the carrier of your choice. If you do not have the invoice, you can print your order by logging into "My Account" at the top. We recommend insuring the item for your protection when you send it back. We are not responsible for lost or stolen return packages. Do you engrave?

Custom engraving is non-refundable. It is $1/letter or a $5 minimum charge. We have script (cursive) or block font. There are some items that we cannot engrave. Sorry, but Benchmark diamond rings cannot be engraved. If you want to custom engrave something, please call 800-619-1375 and place your order over the phone.

Can you custom size?

Yes, most rings and chains can be custom sized. Custom sizing is non-refundable. There are some items that we cannot custom size due to the design of the items. Do you accept international orders?

At this time, we only ship to Canada. Canada orders are $14.99 for ground (7-10 business days) or $45 for Worldwide Express. Puerto Rico shipping is $20 for two day and $30 for overnight.

What do I do if I want to change my order?

E-mail your name, e-mail address, the order number, and new changes to orders@goldenmine.com. We will e-mail you a confirmation of the changes as soon as they are processed. If we have already sent out your original order, please refuse the package from UPS and it will be returned to us at no additional cost to you. Any opened packages are subject to our return policy.

What are your shipping options?

Standard UPS Ground shipping is free for all orders over $100, excluding tax. All orders under $100 are subject to a $5.99 UPS Ground shipping fee. We also have two day shipping for $12.99 and overnight shipping for $24.99 (does not include weekends).

Do you take money orders?

If you want to pay by money order, please register on the site if you have an email address. If you do not have an email address, send in a money order (be sure to include shipping fees and tax if applicable). What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. We also accept checks or money orders. All forms of payment must be in USA currency. Checks must be drawn out of a USA bank. We have a safe shopping guarantee policy that will insure total security. Checks and money orders must cleared before we can ship your order.

Does GoldenMine.com charge sales tax on purchases?

Because we are based in California, we charge 8.25% sales tax for any purchases made by California residents. However, there is no sales tax for purchases made outside the state of California. International orders may require special taxes, but we are unable to estimate the costs.

We do not make or design custom jewelry. However, we have access to almost every style of jewelry available. If you do not see the item you want on our site, you may be able to custom order a specific design. What if there is an item that is mis-priced?

Should an item ever be mis-priced, we will notify you by e-mail. If the correct price is lower than the listed price, we will refund the difference. If the correct price is higher than the listed price, we will offer you a 10% discount off the correct price up to a maximum of $50. Weights are accurate +/- 10%.

How do I care for my gold jewelry?

To clean gold jewelry, dilute mild dishwashing liquid with water. Mix 1 tablespoon of dishwashing liquid with 2 cups of water in a bowl. Loosen dirt by soaking jewelry for 15 minutes. Use a soft brush to remove dirt. If necessary, carefully use a toothpick to clean crevices. Rinse with clean water. If you rinse in a sink, make sure to close the drain. After cleaning, always make sure your jewelry is dry before you put it away. Metal jewelry should be stored separately, so pieces cannot come in contact and scuffing of their surfaces can be avoided. It is recommended to remove jewelry before bathing and grooming. Hair spray, make-up, moisturizer, perfume, and soap can leave a dull film on jewelry. Harsh cleaners of any kind, including chlorine bleach, should never be used on jewelry.

How can you offer quality jewelry at low prices?

Most of our fine gold jewelry is imported directly from the largest manufacturers around the world into our showroom. Without the cost of multiple storefronts, inventory, and sales people, we can pass on our savings to the customer. The Internet allows us to sell direct to the consumer, eliminating multiple middlemen and resulting in lower prices for you.

Do special conditions apply to the price guarantee?

The advertised price must be verified and the product must be in stock. Price guarantee does not apply to online auctions nor when competitor's price includes credit, free offers, or rebates.

All of our gold jewelry is solid gold and manufactured to strict quality standards. We state clearly for each item the type of gold, approximate weight, and origin of manufacture. We do not sell ANY gold plated jewelry. Weights are accurate +/- 10% (The only reason we get asked this question is because our prices are so competitive).
